TWISTED SISTER Frontman To Host Germany's ROCK OF AGES Festival
July 24, 2006In addition to TWISTED SISTER's headlining appearance at the Rock of Ages festival in Seebronn (close to Rottenburg),Germany this Friday (July 28),the band's frontman Dee Snider has signed on to host the event on Saturday. The festival will feature additional performances from such artists as SAGA, URIAH HEEP, GOTTHARD, FISH, GLENN HUGHES, UFO, WISHBONE ASH, THE SWEET, VIXEN, HOUSE OF LORDS, SOUL DOCTOR and EVIDENCE ONE.
As previously reported, Snider — who wrote and starred in the cult horror film "Strangeland" — has joined the lineup of the next East Coast edition of Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors convention, presented by Anchor Bay Entertainment, to be held September 29 to October 1 at the Meadowlands Crowne Plaza Hotel (2 Harmon Plaza, Secaucus, New Jersey). Snider, host of "Fangoria Radio", will have news of his "Strangeland" sequel and reveal the latest plans for his horror orchestral band VAN HELSING'S CURSE.
